About Imanol Egido
Product Design & Product Management at Universitat Pompeu Fabra
I’m a Design Systems expert and hybrid designer–engineer passionate about building bridges between design and development. With experience across UI/UX strategy, front-end integration, and design system architecture, I help teams streamline workflows, increase consistency, and ship better products faster.
I’ve worked on web and app experiences for LMS, CMS, eCommerce, and SaaS platforms, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in industries like eLearning, banking, insurance, and telecommunications. My focus is always on creating scalable systems that empower designers and developers to work seamlessly together.
As a mentor, I love helping others grow their systems-thinking mindset, improve their design-to-code collaboration, and develop practical strategies for design operations and product scalability. Whether you’re building your first design system, refining your UX process, or navigating a hybrid design–tech role, I’m here to help you find clarity, structure, and confidence in your journey.
