Sr Product Manager at Zalando
I started my career as a software engineer in India — writing code, fixing bugs, making systems behave. What I didn't expect was how much I'd end up caring about the people on the other side of those systems: the warehouse worker waiting on a broken conveyor belt, the customer refreshing a delivery tracker, the seller staring at a confusing dashboard.
That shift — from fixing systems to fixing experiences — is the thread running through my whole career. As a Technical Program Manager at Tesco, I learned how fragile the connection between "it works" and "it works for someone" really is. As a Product Owner and Product Manager since, at METRO, BAUHAUS, and now Zalando, I've spent my time in that gap: turning operational chaos — jammed conveyors, exception queues, 11-hour resolution times — into products that quietly just work. Cutting resolution time by 85%. Lifting on-time delivery by 17%. Not because the metrics are satisfying (though they are), but because behind every one of those numbers is someone whose day got a little less frustrating.
“One of the most experienced and knowledgeable mentors I’ve met in the field I sought guidance in. His insights are backed by real experience, statistics, and concrete data, making the session incredibly valuable and motivating. What impressed me most was his genuine willingness to help, drawing on his own journey and the supportive resources he has built around it.”
“I got very good feedback from the manager perspective on how much the job interviews have changed and how I can adjust to the new change.”
