Changing roles

I helped ensuring smooth feature sprints for Payment & Subscription squad. I also helped managing the implementation and maintenance of payment gateways, and helped maintaining our cross-vertical subscription services. As a squad of multiple disciplines we developed, tested, and maintained our payment and subscription services rigorously to ensure robust and bug free experience for our customers.

I helped running a very lean team of web engineers across multiple squads. We developed a number of internal libraries and processes to boost web engineer's productivity.

I developed a number of internal web apps. We used modern React, GraphQL, NodeJS, and Express, on top of full ES2015, and some features of ES2016 and ES2017. We also extensively used Webpack build system, complemented with Babel and Grunt. We wrote unit tests with Jest. We also set up continuous integration and delivery using Jenkins with Kubernetes.

I helped initiate the adoption of GraphQL for our internal web and android app projects to enable better performing API for well-defined structured data. Therefore, we'd been able to move away from Redux.

I also helped develop internal API gateway using NodeJS in AWS Lambda. Beside that, I helped develop our customer web app using React and MobX.

ResiBro is a modern and easy-to-use national package delivery tracking service. It's available on Play Store for Android devices. It allows user to track deliveries easily with push notification features. It also supports tracking of more than 20 delivery service providers in Indonesia.

We use native Android SDK, but we had migrated to Flutter for the Android app. For the backend side we use NodeJS, ExpressJS, SailsJS, and MySQL, in a fully containerized environment deployed with Docker.

I build the Android app by myself. I also helped building early backend prototypes using only NodeJS, ExpressJS, and MongoDB.

I helped develop Sale Stock web app, Android app, and iOS app. We maintain all apps for all platforms within one single codebase. We use modern tech stack such as NodeJS, Express, React, Redux, GraphQL, and React Native.

I helped adoption of Redux into Sale Stock's web app. I helped the migration from Flummox into Redux.

I also helped the development of Sale Stock's React Native Android app from scratch. With my background as Android developer, I helped a lot on the native side of the app. I wrote a number of native modules for the React Native app. Also, as our single frontend codebase is used on all three platforms, I helped maintain code compatibility between platforms by providing component abstraction layers.

I helped develop Android applications for big name clients of Sutmedia. We used Java and Android SDK, with some easy-to-use frameworks and libraries such as Android Annotations, Retrofit, OkHttp, Realm, and Glide.

My team and I built a procurement monitoring system web application for company's internal usage. We used Yii framework on top of PHP. Working with some domain experts, we translated the flow of the procurement process into our application.
