About Jagruti Kapadia
Senior Product Designer at Netflix
Hi, I’m Jagruti! I’ve been a product designer for 10+ years, mostly working on complex enterprise and 0→1 products. Outside of design, I’m currently raising a very opinionated toddler and a dramatic Maltese + building a small consumer brand on the side - all of which have been surprisingly good lessons in product thinking. :)
I’ve worked closely with product, engineering, research and business teams and have spent enough years doing this to know there’s rarely one “right” way to design or build a career in design. I genuinely enjoy mentoring because I remember how different career advice feels when it comes from someone who actually listens to your situation rather than handing you a framework. I’ll tell you what’s working, what isn’t and we’ll figure out how to make it better together.

What mentees say
“Jagruti knew the subject well and had the real-world experience to back it up, so the 30 minutes were specific and useful rather than generic advice. She's also warm and easy to talk to, which made it simple to get to the heart of my questions fast. Already planning to book more time with her.”
