Hi! I’m Jameel, a software engineer and entrepreneur. I graduated with a BEng in Electronics and Communications Engineering from The University of Hong Kong and later went on to do a MSc in Computer Science from my alma mater.

I'm currently a Staff Software Engineer at ExpressVPN where my team and I build tools to improve developer productivity and happiness. In my career I've worn many hats. I've served as a Sotware Engineer, Technical Lead, People Manager and to a lesser extent Product Owner and Project Manager. I have led teams, developed products, and engineered solutions.

I've mentored software engineers (junior and senior) and first time people managers. I've also been a sounding board for entrepreneurs (techincal and non technical) to bounce ideas off of.
