“I just had an incredibly motivating session with James. He embodies everything a great mentor should be—positive, knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, and genuinely supportive. He offered valuable feedback, and I’m feeling truly energized and excited to put it into action as I continue my job search.”
“James and I share a lot of similar experiences in terms of our careers in technical communication. He helped provide reassurance and confidence in an otherwise uncertain time for our profession. I enjoyed our conversation, as it was more focused on broad trends and patterns in the market as well as talking about company expectations in our line of work.”
“James helped me see where I may fall short in my presentation as a freelance technical writer. He reviewed a pitch I had written and shared tips about my portfolio and what I could do better to get more technical writing gigs. Thank you, James.”
