👋 Hi, I’m James. I’m an experienced Software Development Manager with 20 years of experience in software. I have personally experienced the challenges in this field, from trying to get my first break ( How can I get experience if I need experience for my first role?) to stepping into management positions and navigating the complexities of leadership.
Mentoring has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my roles, and I’ve enjoyed doing that for people at all stages of their careers in the UK and the USA. Examples of areas in which I have a track record of mentoring team members are:-
