My name is James Wachira, and I'm an African American engineering leader with a rich 15-year career that spans various sectors, including e-commerce, enterprise, logistics, and ML/AI. My journey has seen me evolve from a hands-on Engineer to a Technical Lead, and now a Engineering Exec, where I've been instrumental in developing innovative web and mobile applications, data pipelines, analytics platforms, and machine learning models.

I am passionate about mentoring for several reasons. First, as an African American in the tech industry, I understand the unique challenges that minorities face.
