Heading up the product team as an intrapeneur within Etch, accountable for managing a P&L, driving growth 150% in the first year.  Also responsible for the creative and strategic direction of Etch Group, creating a shared vision for every person within the business. Planning and developing new strategies for product launches including conceptualisation of new innovative ideas. This role involves Leading teams of skilled product designers & developers to deliver immersive, frictionless and delightful software experiences for clients spanning many sectors.

Tasked with building a design team from scratch for an award-winning app development agency. Dootrix a Microsoft partner needed a Head of Design to hire, manage, scale, and set up design operations within their business. The role required for a fully functional team to be delivering design as good as their high-quality code within the first 6 months. The design team was established and not only supported the development team but excelled, it enabled the business to offer bespoke design and design thinking as an additional revenue stream.

Responsible for the aesthetic direction of Etch whilst creating a shared vision for every person in the design and development team. Planning and Developing product strategy for successful releases and conceptualisation of new innovative ideas.

This role involves Leading teams of skilled product designers & developers to deliver immersive, frictionless and delightful software experiences for a range of well known clients.

Part of the behavioural unit within Etch UK. Working with a range of ambitious clients on creating experiences, both online and off, that consider how we really interact with the world around us.

Defining the aesthetic direction and vision for the company whilst creating a shared goal for every person in the team. Planning and Developing product strategy for successful releases and conceptualisation of new innovative products and ideas.

Worked with leading startups and enterprises in today’s tech industry. Utilised user research to achieve a holistic approach to web and app design and development while following lean and agile methodologies. Applied skills consisted of Interaction design, User experience & Interface design, Information architecture, Prototyping, Quality assurance, and front-end web development using modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Sass, jQuery, JS, YAML, Gulp, Grunt, BEM and web component practices.

Creation of identities, products and services for a broad genre of global clients. Managing briefs and directing projects from idea to delivery. Achieved by sketching concepts, wire-framing, designing user interfaces at a meticulously pixel-perfect level with extensive consideration to layout, typography & colour theory, implementation of interactive mock-ups, exploration of user flow & experience, production of front-end development and product testing.

Focused mainly on print based materials producing accessible branding and identities for international clients. Predominately designing for the gaming industry along with creation of production ready merchandise and packaging. Initiated the agencies development into the digital market by enhancing An.x’s on-line presence. Taking personal responsibility to acquire new briefs and solely manage projects from design to development.
