• I have been supporting my team with team projects, setup design critiques, enabled sharing within the team, setting up rituals. Continuous improvement to the design process in order to enable fast deliveries and reduce time-to-market.

• Working alongside project managers to help them with developing their roadmaps, organising planning sessions, working alongside product VP to understand project distribution within the team and setting design OKRs.

• Organising in-person sprint with all stakeholders for various projects to align the goals, facilitate knowledge sharing from research and data teams, map user problems and identifying gaps, and taking these forward to brainstorm solutions and build quick prototypes for user testing.

• Project management on key initiatives so design can push prototypes for quick usability testing and deliver with speed

• Assessing process and improving ways of working between design and product by doing continuous retrospectives, collecting stakeholder expectations and working with design team to build efficient process that improves delivery time and focusing on quality.

• Coaching and mentoring designers in the team on their projects, helping understand use of design process and implementing ways to achieve more value through their work. Helping break designs into MVPs that can be tested quickly while focusing on value in experience.

I started with Veehive as a design consultant as they were preparing the business pitches and helping them build the MVP of their B2B ad B2B2C product. Later I moved on to lead the product team by hiring designers and interns.
At Veehive, I constantly challenge the founders on their vision and what we work on to ship to complete the MVP. Also, preparing wireframes and run discussions with the tech team about user jobs and actions. Handover to the development team and supporting them during the development of the product. Doing sanity checks often to find bugs and features that need to be improved as part of the MVP and most of all motivating designers to give the best and helping them to improve UX and analytical skills.

Responsible for acquisition and repeat for our travel subscription product - eDreamsPrime

• Working closely with teams for end to end experience, to create the project briefs, conduct brainstorm
sessions on next projects, prioritisation of projects and regular evaluation of funnel to ensure
quality and performance

• Benchmarking and do a comparative analytic studies for continuous improvements

• Analyse data from analytics and A/B reviews to improve user experience

• Prototyping experiences for studies and validations. Conduct user testing at several stages of design process

• Adapting user needs with business opportunities to deliver best product experiences making it easier for users to travel in peace

• Work closely with the developers to ensure accurate delivery of design and experiences and
facilitate them with any help needed

I have worked on multiple projects during my freelance practice. Some of them are:

• Designing user interaction system for a real estate digital marketplace in UAE for builders to be able to put together all information, for investors to add stakes and investments and customers to be able to buy or invest in properties.

• Project for a pilot training academy of an airline where my role was to design the login and registration for enrolling at the academy. I came up with several approaches and then carried forward the best option by creating UX prototype of the same.

• An on-demand taxi service exclusively designed for women and kids where I was looking at the driver app. The challenge was that this service let kids aged 5+ to travel alone in the taxi where parents could use a door-to-door service that lets drivers pick the kid and drop and hand over to the person concerned.

• Another project is a parking payment solution that understands how users find parking and pay for their parking. I contributed to initial information collection understanding types of parking, then creating customer journey map. I worked on building an experience that lets users interact with different parking facilities differently.

Some of the other projects involve - eCommerce platform building buyer and seller side of the application, and a branding solution for a luxury upholstery brand.

Responsible for the Bing search results for entertainment segment. Information design for better consumption by our users.

User-centered designs through a solid understanding of online strategies, best-practices and close collaboration with key stakeholders. Ability to keep up and grow with this constantly changing environment.

End-to-end design process from problem identification to design delivery and monitoring performance

Collaborate with product management and development to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience

Execute all UI stages from concept to final hand-off to development.

Demonstrate knowledge of visual, UI and interaction design principles with an eye for detail and consistency

Visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction

In addition, I was driving visual design out of India in parallel with my US team counterparts. 
Worked on the retail segment team and build retail experience on Bing.com

My role here involved designing product experiences for various clients:

• I worked for a fashion e-Commerce startup called Limeroad. I did initial concept development as they were looking at re-designing their current mobile app and website. I was responsible for designing iOS and android app. 

• Another project was to re-design a news app - Dailyhunt. I worked end-to-end on building the android app and mobile website involving initial wireframing, prototyping, visual design and then design hand-off to developers. It involved news reading experience, introducing video content and also an e-book reader on the mobile app.

• Another project was about a Healthcare startup called IVY Care. I worked on designing the app for mobile and tablet where users could book lab tests and also get reports on the same. It involved the user facing application and the dashboard for the labs to monitor business, orders and store patient records.

At Campus Diaires, they had two products - an online publishing platform and a print monthly magazine. I led the team for managing the layouts and grids of the magazine and outsourcing illustration work with freelance illustrators. While, I also looked at the online platform where I was creating design guidelines and libraries working closely with the development team. My responsibilities included wireframes, sitemaps, user flows, and visual design for the online platform.

During my internship, I worked on a branding and communication design for a landscape architect’s firm. My role here involved working on concept designs, sketches, identity design, implementation and style guidelines for identity usage, website concepts, animations and visual design.

As a part of my academic project at NID in my final semester, I took up a live project with Mapin Publishing. I learnt the whole process of the making of a book. It was a fun and a very good learning experience. My colleagues there were very supportive and always extended their help.
