Aloha!
After 35 years as a UX leader and principal designer, these days I'm just... walking the earth.
You know, like Caine in "Kung Fu." Just walking from place to place, meeting UX people, getting in adventures.
I am a passionate leader, coach, mentor and tutor to both managers and individual contributors, and enjoy developing high-performing teams and people.
Throughout my career I led the design of employee-facing applications in cybersecurity, data integrity and privacy, network observability, health insurance, e-commerce, and commercial real estate.
My favorite topics include career development, UX strategy, research and design processes, cross-functional collaboration, conflict resolution, managing up and across without authority, transitioning from IC to leadership, and hiring practices.
