Hi, I'm Jason TAY.

Over the course of my career, I've been an Entrepreneurial Business Leader with an eclectic career across Traditional Finance, Corporate Banking, New Economy Fintech and the Web3.0 industry.

An accomplished Speaker, Host and Moderator in the international scene, I also teach in the university scene as an Adjunct Lecturer on Web3.0, Digital Finance, Sales and Fintech related topics.

I currently hold the role of Head of Commercial at StraitsX, a Major Payments Institution licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, focusing on building leading infrastructure for digital assets in Southeast Asia, as well as pioneering the use of stablecoins for international transactions.

Previously held leadership roles including the Head of Business Development and Government Relations in M-DAQ; a Singapore based Series ‘D’ Fintech Company focused on providing innovative Foreign Exchange solutions, and accumulated more than 12 years in Corporate Investment Banking in international banks such as Standard Chartered Bank, J.P. Morgan and Societe Generale; covering the Asia Pacific region across a myriad of industries ranging from Oil & Gas / Energy, Technology, Consumer Goods, Automobiles, Défense to Diversified Industries.
