I’m Jay, and I'm a passionate designer and leader who thrives on building products that people love. I’ve built award-winning products like Google Fi from the ground up, and lead product design for products with hundreds of millions of users like Google Pay.
I’m obsessed with building happy, inclusive design teams and creating tools and processes that supercharge their productivity so they can focus on solving the design problems that matter.
At 18yo I started my own software company building products for major Australian companies like Harvey Norman and Austereo. My experience as a founder, engineer and designer gives me the unique experience of knowing exactly how to work cross-functionally in the most effective way and how to establish design as a first-class citizen at the executive level.
I was hired into Google at 22yo and have worked my way up as a woman and POC from UX designer to head of design building global, multidisciplinary teams and complex organizations. As a passionate mentor, I helped build the Associate Design program to shape Google’s future design leaders.
