About Jenny Cheuk

Product Designer at ChowNow

I am a product designer by trade, since I have experience as a research designer, my priority is to always work at the intersection of design and research. I have 5 years of experience in championing design and research in a traditional corporate background, and am currently understanding how to navigate within a start-up environment.

In my day-to-day, I'm working with product owners and managers on both conceptual and actual products, creating user needs, and prototypes. I have experience with talking to users, leading workshops, and guiding the product roadmap.

I have a Masters in Industrial Design from Georgia Tech and have predominately worked in the healthcare space, but am currently working in the food delivery domain and designing experiences to unpack large amount of data for restaurant owners.

I am also a mother of a toddler, and would love to help others with children navigate a good work life balance.

What mentees say

“Jenny is excellent at interpreting what I'm trying to ask about and put it into words. Sometimes you just don't know the correct vocabulary and concepts and she very positively understands what I'm trying to ask about and answers in a way that everything is so clear. Jenny also delegates next steps to continue finding resources and learning more.”

megan brown, Student at ISU

“I had such a great time talking with Jenny! She was energetic, attentive and gave me great insights on how to leverage my past work experiences to showcase UX skills. She also clarified a lot of questions I had regarding early career choices. Thank you so much Jenny and I Hope to talk to you soon!”

Cheng Guo, UX designer at Careerfoundry

“Jenny is an excellent mentor. She is also an alumnus of Georgia Tech. I ask some questions about MID program and my career path. Such as how to prepare for UX career planning through industrial design courses. Her advice was very helpful to me!”
