I reported to the CEO and managed the entire product design and user research departments. I left the role to pursue my own company.

I was responsible for the design teams that created our internal tools, RedfinNow, and Redfin Mortgage. I worked closely with my multiple director counterparts in product management and engineering across 12 teams. I managed 12 product designers, 1 product design manager, and hired 18 designers in total.

• Introduced and drove adoption across product for prototyping and rapid innovation process

I led internal tools infrastructure for Redfin's 3,000+ real estate agents. I worked closely with my director counterparts in product management and engineering across several teams. I managed 8 product designers.

• Grew the team rapidly from 2 to 8 in six months
• Created Redfin's first design system and component library
• Wrote the company's first design career ladder for individual contributors
• Kept our product backlog full through 4-month understaffing drought

I joined as an opportunistic hire. I spent most of this time working with executives on long-term, vision work and optimizing our tour checkout experience. I designed the first date time picker and tour checkout experience on any real estate website, which led to multi-digit conversion lift and a current industry standard.
