Lead, build and support a wonderful game design team to help them thrive at Dinosaur Polo Club.

As the Experience Design / Design Enablement Lead, I lead three important functions - grow design capability, ensure effective design operations and evolve brand and design standard (design system). I apply human-centred design to solve customer problems and deliver business value through design.

Accomplishment:
- Built first internal digital design team at ANZ
- Key contributor in the establishment of Design Centre of Expertise at ANZ
- Key contributor in driving and evolving ANZ NZ design maturity to a team of 40 and 6 disciplines
- Scaled design capabilities across digital teams
- Established rituals and ceremonies to ensure design excellence and continuous learnings
- Developed and launched design system for goMoney (mobile app)
- Established cross-channel design system strategy and framework
- Established design workflow and toolkit to increase efficiency and quality
- Improved accessibility on mobile and web channels

- Manage a team of digital designers and UX designers.
- Lead and develop creative direction for the organisation
- Provide creative leadership across projects, teams and initiatives with design and user experience outputs.
- Manage relationships with brand and design stakeholders.
- Run workshop for design projects, present concepts to clients.
- Recruit, retain and develop staff.

Achievement:
- Introduced a digital publishing solution which then turned into a strategic initiative that is changing the way the organisation develop course material. The solutions enable automated workflow, rapid development cycle, and enabled multiple format output.
- Redesigned online seamless experience for all the platforms. This ensure user have a cohesive experience with all the platforms.
- An interactive mobile learning app is developed. The content creation is huge but I managed the production of it within a short time frame and the output is very well received.

Design user interfaces and interactions. Create visual assets for product implementation. Work closely with UX Lead on user experience strategy. Involved in frontend development of the product. Assist in user testing.

I provide creative leadership to ensure that design work is consistently high quality and reinforces Open Polytechnic’s brand. I am playing a key role in various strategic projects including but not limited to mobile learning app, publishing automation, digital publishing, responsive website and online interactive planning tool.

- Lead conception of design work and brief development for internally and externally delivered online and print products.
- Provide design direction to Educational Designers, Courseware Developers, Multimedia developer, Software Developers and others across a variety of media.
- Provide art direction to ensure visual assets provide an overall fit with design strategies.
- Work with Product Owners to present creative ideas during pre-project work.
- Provide supervision and professional coaching to Designers when appropriate.
- Design and produce high quality graphic/multimedia material as required.

In 2011, I was awarded the outstanding performance employee of the year as a recognition of the creative works I have done especially pioneering the video development in our social media channel. During this time, I’ve developed a process for reviewing and approving design concepts. I have also recommended a software solution to go with that process and it has been a great success.
