In this course, students learn to:
 - Use industry standard tools such as Sketch and Invision to prototype and wireframe design solutions.
- Put together a full suite of UX documentation for a digital product, from user personas and wireframes to interactive prototypes.
- Connect and convey how insights into customer behavior — from problems to solutions — can optimize any product or service.

In this role, I conduct enterprise-level education courses centered around User Experience Design. Topics of instructions often include User-Centered Design and Research methods; Agile workflow; Prototyping, Usability Testing, and Lean UX methods. In GA's immersive program, I facilitated learners to successfully:
• Apply fundamental UX skills to several hands-on projects in order to build up a design portfolio.
• Prepare for an internship or entry-level job as a junior User Experience Designer.

Since early 2014, I have instructed over 130 postgraduate level professionals about the field of UX and how to become a professional UX designer. That means I have managed and trained them through to completion on over 650 projects; one fifth of those being actual client projects. 

After graduation, my students have gone on to lead successful careers as UX Designers; many of them going to work for well-known brands such as: Belkin, Sony, Facebook, Disney, Direct TV, HUGE, and Apple to name a few.

At Dex One, I led the successful redesigns for all web, mobile-web, and native applications in an agile environment. (B2B and B2C)

At Dex One, I increased communication between teams. Design is almost always at the beginning of development initiatives. Because if this, I had the ability to see what is coming through the development pipeline. This foreknowledge allowed me to collaborate early on with necessary team members and enabled us to work through any potential road blocks, thereby speeding up development. 

I have lead the design team in many successful implementations for consumer and client 
facing products. In an effort to be brief, here is a short list of successes:

— In Q4 of 2012, the implementation of my redesign of the DexKnows.com business profile 
page saw an immediate 54% lift in the action rate, and action rates continued to rise.

— In Q1 of 2013, despite employee turnover, with strong focus and determination, I was 
able to facilitate and complete the successful redesign of our native iOS and Android 
applications.

— In Q1 of 2014, we saw to fruition a concise and grounded branding effort for all 
digital products. We worked very closely with content teams, sales teams, marketing,

11 years of graphic design and web design led me to mobile application project management. At ACTV8, I was the Director of Product Development.

My responsibilities at ACTV8, Inc. included:

Product Management: 
Oversaw and facilitated products from inception to delivery. 
I was a part the beginning stages of procurement by collaborating on RFP’s to help ensure that we are able to produce what is sold to the client.
Managed the entire work flow (from the feature list, time lines, sitemaps, wireframes) all the way through app submission. 
Created realistic time lines with key milestones, keeping everyone in the loop and well informed. 

Creative Team Management: 
I successfully grew our creative team by 4 times what it was when I first started at ACTV8.
I facilitated the daily (SCRUM inspired) creative meetings which were paramount to prioritizing, managing interference/road blocks, and team collaboration. 

Sponsor Integration: 
Managed ad space for big brand integration into the applications, such as GM (Buick), Kraft (Crystal Light), and Walgreens and worked with successful ad agencies such Digitas.
Created and directed comps of user flow, test functionality of API’s, and work with database engineers to ensure the CMS encompasses the scope of required features.

Management of Weekly Shows - Sync Content Integration: 
ACTV8 apps sync to the broadcast of a television show. 
We integrated new custom content every week. 
I guided the team members and all the steps for this content production and integration, from graphics, to script, to CMS and testing.

Awards:
Product Manager for a mobile app which was up for an Emmy nomination AND a Cannes Lions award for innovative sponsor integration.

Communication:
Speak clearly, comfortably, and intelligently with all branches of a project: designers, developers, engineers, upper management, board members, vendors, and clients.
