About Jim van der Waal

Head of Product at Polarsteps

Hi 👋 my name is Jim, a passionate Product Leader that is currently working as Head of Product at Polarsteps.

I worked in Product for about 10 years and worked as PM for a lot of different teams. Internal tooling, infrastructure, consumer-facing, I have seen most of it. Allowing me to distill general frameworks and ways of thinking about Product.

I am very passionate about personal development and have been mentoring students and colleagues on this topic already from the start of my career. Where in the past 3 years I have also been sitting on the hiring manager side of the table.
