About Jocelyn Wong

Senior Designer at Atlassian

I’m currently a lead product designer working on the Atlassian Design System. My career has led me down a wide variety of avenues, from being a design generalist at a 20-person startup in San Francisco to launching learning products at Udacity (ed-tech company) to growth design at 23andMe (health and genetics company).

I’m deeply interested in systems thinking and love seeing how many things can benefit from it. Systems thinking helps to frame complex problems through a holistic understanding of the relationships between each part, over time. It’s a powerful way to discover comprehensive solutions with exciting applications not just in design, but also issues from urban planning to healthcare.

I'm more than happy to chat about anything design, but can also share interaction/visual design tips and my experiences navigating imposter syndrome.
