Prototyping methods and tips

-Created and maintained a cohesive and consistent chart and graph library of Figma assets for use across Webex Admin tools.
-Launched, improved, and updated new analytics features of Webex Control Hub and Partner Hub; communicated UX flows, subsystems, and microinteractions to engineers, PMs, and leadership; broke out of an “it’s always done like this” rut by convincing stakeholders to trust an innovative approach.
-Improved visual consistency across Webex products by teaming with Design Systems group and merging divergent design systems into one.

-Brought digital concepts to life: designed UI, user stories, scenarios, and interactions for the launch of Azure Purview and new surfaces within Azure Sentinel (now Microsoft Sentinel). 
-Lent my expertise to the Azure Information Protection and Azure Security teams, self-managing my time and responsibilities as I balanced a variety of products and PMs.
-Built and maintained a data visualization toolkit, asset library, and guidelines in Figma that are used across variety of products.
-Drove products from PM specs to high-fidelity Figma mockups, then communicated upcoming changes to developers.

Data visualization and UX consultant for T-Mobile and Microsoft (see details above)

I provided rhythm of business (ROB) reporting for T-Mobile for Business marketing teams using PowerBI. My responsibilities included scraping and cleaning data from 15+ different sources, ETL processing, and championing UI improvements for data dashboards across multiple product owners. By streamlining the data collection process into PowerBI, I turned 5 weekdays of tedious work into 1, allowing me to grow the available insights from three dashboards to 18 pages of reports.

I conducted 10 User Research interviews with subject matter experts to determine the best solution for a set of PowerBI data dashboards that I later built. During these interviews, I facilitated card sorting and affinity mapping exercises to drive productive discussion into key stakeholder requirements.

I worked mainly on Microsoft contracts to develop interactive sales and marketing data dashboards. I worked across several different sectors, balancing frequent new client contacts and rapidly iterative requirements to deliver reports intended for high-level executives in a timely manner. 

This job required a flexible knowledge of PowerBI and use of SQL databases, PowerQuery, DAX, and M to obtain, clean, and manage data to suit our clients' needs.

I provided data solutions to various teams within the Microsoft Office data and analytics org. Over my tenure, our organization changed structure a few times and I worked flexibly to adapt legacy marketing data with new, live SQL sources to provide the necessary PowerBI reporting tools for senior management. My responsibilities included rhythm-of-business dashboard reporting, custom dashboard reporting, visual design overhaul, program integration, and client engagement.

As a TA for a technical writing class, I strategically designed course content to best reflect course objectives. I applied design thinking practices to develop new class exercises that promote student engagement. Over the four times I taught this material, I created new lectures, incorporating cutting edge industry concerns. Through the process of grading hundreds of papers, I became fluent in technical writing, content strategy, and critical language skills.

•	Collaborated with a team of electrical and mechanical engineers to design and construct high voltage machinery for the aircraft industry
•	Modeled, created, and adapted thousand-part 3D model assemblies using Solidworks and organize them using Keytech PLM software
•	Developed annotated 2D drawings for 3D modeled parts
•	Interfaced with vendors and international clients to negotiate price quotes and create purchase orders

Worked with Thin Films Process Technology team to evaluate and iterate designs of liquid chemical vaporizers. Assisted with field support while performing maintenance and upgrades on Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) tools. Designed and executed series of experiments on a vaporizer test bench. Learned to reassemble and manually test vaporizer unit to save company from buying a new unit. Gained experience in clean room technical support.
