Responsible for the strategic thinking, planning and execution of the overall product experience from ideation to final delivery

Lead weekly team meetings, design sprints, on-site and off-site workshops and other activities to engage cross-functional teams and senior leadership in ways that drove innovation, clearly defined outcomes and provided a roadmap to get there.

Worked closely with C-Suite (CEO, COO, CMO) to shape the company's overall direction and ensure technology, business and product strategy were tightly aligned.

Led the strategic direction of our product management process from idea to final delivery, including hiring of talent, resource allocation, product roadmaps, budgets, and design ops.

Championed a user-centered design approach throughout the organization, ensuring that all design decisions are driven by a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors

As an active member of the local design community I enjoy sharing ideas and connecting with other like-minded professionals and students looking to get into the industry.

For the past year I've had the pleasure of teaching several UX/UI co-horts at IronHack and have been humbled the experience of helping others along their journey of becoming not just UX designers but critical thinkers.  

In my current role as IxDA committee member, speaker, volunteer, and instructor... I often speak at events and panels on UX best practices, user centered-design principles and the role these disciplines play in the startup landscape.

Combined my knowledge in UX and coaching to create digital products that improve the way coaching is delivered today by making it accessible to everyone.
Played a key role in the content strategy, design and development of our signature product (LaunchPad) which has served as a coach-in-a-box model for underserved audiences.
Since its initial launch in 2016, I have used the this model to conduct numerous workshops and coaching sessions with a diverse range of individuals, including UX grads, clients, and entrepreneurs to name a few. Through these interactions they’ve been able to gain clarity on their desired outcomes and make a measurable and meaningful impact in their lives.

My experience in launching products in a fast-paced environment has given me a front-row seat to company building and a unique perspective on how to create products and companies from the ground up. I'm now applying these learnings to continue my entrepreneurial journey and build digital products and companies in the areas of health, personal development and emerging platforms.

As a UX/UI lead I had the opportunity to work closely with executive, marketing, engineering teams to help develop and execute a multi-channel product & launch strategy.  This included extensive user research, a solid platform architecture and UML diagrams, software/hardware ecosystem mapping, UX strategy, UI design of all digital offerings and brand re-design. 

Beyond any product efforts I also played a key role in creating various sales materials and decks to help support our marketing and fund-raising efforts.  During my tenure at AdMobilize the company was able to secure a second round of funding and  build the first product (AdBeacon) and subsequent IoT analytics platform for the physical world which help position our product line up as technology pioneer in the out of home (OOH) industry

Worked closely with entrepreneurs and early stage companies to help them co-build and launch several products and companies across a wide range of industries, including: healthcare, entertainment, real estate, travel, computer vision,  Internet of things (IoT), and education to name a few.  

Through this experience I had the opportunity to lead the product and UX efforts for over 9 early/ mid-stage companies and worked closely with a talented team of creatives, engineers, and strategies to carefully balance the user and  business needs.

As a champion of user-centered design I was responsible for defining the UX strategy, design and execution across every consumer touch point in order to turn exponential  ideas into viable products and scalable companies built around technology and innovation.

Responsible for the creative direction, UX strategy and design across multiple consumer touch points for Univision Radio. During the time spent at Univision I had the opportunity to work with world-class talent and play a key role in bringing to life the next generation of web and mobile products for the new Uforia music platform.

Responsible for the creation of project plans, guidelines, design requirements documents (DRD), layouts, and graphic user interface as part of the planning, design and development phases for each product release

Worked closely with senior level management, product dev teams, ad operations, and marketing to deliver best in class design and user experiences that support business and user requirements across platforms.

Worked with directly with clients, design, and marketing teams on all aspects of concept development, art direction, and design for some of the leading travel and hospitality brands. 

Responsible for the conceptual design, strategic and tactical creation of integrated online marketing strategies where I specialized in UX/UI design, web development, eCRM, display ads, mobile and social media strategies.

Worked closely with all levels of management and played an active role in day to day client meetings, RFP responses, client pitches, and overall business development strategies.

Responsible for the design, enhancement and maintenance of various websites and promotional tools. Worked closely with developers and all levels of management in creating rich internet applications, tours, and promotional material for some of the top online-dating and social platform. Specialized in Graphic User Interface(GUI) design, concept development, branding, print, flash technologies and interactive media.

Played a key role in the launch of AOL’s video portal and the development of online promo tools.
Assisted in the planning, design and publishing of online content and website maintenance.
Responsible for the design, development and implementation of various search tools and back-end applications based on AOL’s API technology.

For 18+ years I’ve lead creative and technical teams to deliver high-profile websites, mobile applications and platforms for a wide range of national and international clients. During this time I’ve held various product/design leadership roles for companies large and small where I’ve consulted on UX/UI and product design strategy, some of my experience includes work for brands like AOL, Aeromexico, McDonalds, NCL, and Univision to name a few.
