Hey, it's Joey!
I'm currently a UX Designer at Later and host of the Minimum Viable Podcast on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
A bit about me, I was born in Indonesia and raised between there and the Philippines until I moved to Canada for university. I made my transition into design halfway through my mechanical engineering degree by starting two companies with some friends. When I'm not designing, I like playing basketball, making YouTube videos and curating my wardrobe (don't be intimidated by my photo, I just like putting on a character sometimes).
My style of mentorship:
1\. Respectful but direct, upfront but not confrontational
2\. Advice from lived experience as a self-taught designer and previous startup founder
3\. I like to build meaningful relationships with my mentees and keep communication active (i.e. tell me how things have changed for you over time)
