As a Principal Product Manager at Toast, I lead the Fintech team within the Business Technology & Transformation (BTT) division. Our mission is to deliver scalable, outcome-focused solutions for Toast’s fintech initiatives by enhancing internal tools like Salesforce, NetSuite, Stripe, and Toast’s proprietary platforms.

In my role, I prioritise UX, not just for end-users but for my own team as well as internal stakeholders across R&D, CX, Sales, Billing, Business and Payment operations. My approach ensures that products, tools and processes are intuitive, scalable, and aligned with long-term business goals.

During my tenure at Personio, I embraced the multifaceted roles of both Platform and Feature Product Manager, where I honed my skills in delivering effective Product Operation processes that facilitated development team scalability and value delivery. 

My passion for creating intuitive user experiences was realised through the development of two greenfield platform infrastructure features, with my main focus being on managing the delivery of the Personio Audit Log and the two new UIs that were needed to display the logs to our customers

As a Product Manager for the Simplify Commerce E-commerce banking platform, I led four development teams, contributing significantly to our expansion from 7 to over 40 banking partners, thereby enriching our merchant ecosystem.

Acting Biz/Tech Operations lead for Simplify Commerce

Leading the MasterCard Simplify payment platform development support team (level 3) and acting release manager for the entire Simplify product. 

Some of my responsibilities include:

1. Acting PCI and GDPR Coordinator for Simplify Commerce
2.Managing all of the support issues from all of the lower level support teams in multiple different countries, including the Philippines, Australia, South Africa and the U.S.
3. Changing and refining the existing development support/operations structure to meet the demands of the growing customer base for the product and the elevated number of support requests.
4. Configurating and creating complete salesforce communities that are branded and customised for each of our different partners
5. Managing the deployment of code fixes and improvements to our Production and UAT servers
6. Helping with the prioritization of the product backlog for all of the development teams
5. Organising conference calls with Acquirers to discuss and get fixes for common issues caused by integration of our software with theirs or any other problems that may arise in their initial go-to-market push
7. Monitoring all of the systems on a constant basis using status pages, PagerDuty, Splunk and Xmatters
8. Updating and creating new knowledgebase articles and procedures that deal with recurring issues/topics.
9. Organising and running daily standups and weekly engineering status meetings

Zabbix, Splunk, Confluence, Jira, Salesforce, MAMP, Putty, Postgres with pgAdmin3 , PagerDuty, Remedy

Other Involvements:
Member of the Tech Leadership Network Committee within Mastercard

Leading the MasterCard Simplify payment platform development support team (level 3) and acting as release manager for the whole Simplify development team. Also acting as the leader in our team's preparations for the European GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations)

Some of my responsibilities include:

1. Organising and running daily standups and weekly engineering status meetings  
2. Changing and refining the existing development support structure to meet the demands of the growing customer base for the product and the elevated number of support requests.
3. Training and helping to manage the lower level support teams in multiple different countries, including the Philippines , Australia, South Africa and the U.S.
4. Managing the deployment of code fixes and improvements to our Production and UAT servers
5. Organising conference calls with Merchants and Acquirers to discuss and get fixes for common issues caused by integration of our software with theirs or any other problems that may arise
6. Dealing with and fixing the support tickets transferred to us from our lower level support teams or delegating tickets to other developers
7. Joining Development sprints to keep abreast of any issues that may affect customers or to find out when fixes will be implemented
8. Creating documentation for our APIs and plugins for our level 1 & level 2 teams to use for resolving issues  
9. Updating and creating new knowledgebase articles and procedures that deal with recurring issues/topics.
10. Monitoring all of the systems on a constant basis using status pages and PagerDuty

Some of the software used include:

Intellij, Zabbix, GIT, MAMP, Putty, Postgres with pgAdmin3, SourceTree, Splunk, PagerDuty, Bash, Grails, Groovy

Some of my responsibilities include:

1. Managing the JIRA queue and delegating issues out to the different members of the support/development teams.
2. Being a point of contact between the developers and the non-IT users of the company's software.
3. Day to day maintaining and altering of different types of databases (including Informix) and records using server studio and MySQL. 
4. Creating new procedures and scripts to improve the efficiency of the databases and tests.
5. Updating and creating new Java code using Tortoise to commit, track and view changes. This includes continuous improvements and code fixes.
6. Use of JIRA to follow tickets, track sprint progress and create releases
7. Creating and Performing unit tests to track problems and create solutions
8. Creating and upgrading reports in SQL server
9. Creating procedures to keep on the company wiki for future use by myself or others
10. Member of the Empower committee tasked with improving the working conditions in the office.

Eclipse, Tortoise, JIRA, Informix, MySQL, SQL server management studio, Putty, MIS reports, Invest|Pro

Level 3 support for the Sage CRM package. 
Some of the areas I deal with include:
 1. SQL configuration & customisation and database development with SQLServer and Oracle
 2. .NET API customisation
 3. Create workarounds and fixes for product code problems in Javascript and JQuery
 4. Customer Support with technical Queries about SageCRM Software
 5. Debugging and analysing log files and errors found within Tomcat and IIS
 6. Debug, track, find and fix issues within Sage CRM and ERP integrations
 7. Working in a developer sprint using JIRA to track and give advice on how code fixes should be implemented into the base product.

Other Responsibilities:
Member of the innovation committee tasked with introducing innovative ideas to the company to increase cost efficiency, product quality and make changes to improve the conditions in the workplace
Member of the Social Club Committee tasked with organising monthly social events for the staff in the company
Member of the Health and Safety Committee who implemented safety procedures, hosted health and wellbeing events in the office and organised fire drills and safety courses.

Completed a program which involved using Python to create a template for converting different language WordNet Dictionary files into Resource Description Framework (RDF) format for DERI’s Semantic web research

This program is due to be published when the development of the interface it is included in is completed

Used Cprofile and Pyunit to optimize the code

Gained experience in Flask, a microframework for python

Gained experience in teamwork with other people who are doing similar projects with Italian and German

Have received some training in HTML5

Customer Service representative for the Casino
Day to day cash handling and processing credit card transactions for customers
Reconciliation of end-of-day cash floats, transactions and balances
Serviced the slot machines in the Casino
Organisation of raffles and special competitions which included a €10,000 giveaway

Had responsibility for day to day health and safety on site
Gained experience in use of the total station, a GPS device for tracking points
Setting out road surfaces using levels and the total station
Responsible for overseeing site activity when Site Engineer absent from site
Ensured documentation for site up-to-date at all times
Held regular meetings with the resident engineer to discuss problems with the work and possible solutions
Also worked on site as Project Manager / Machine Operator. This role involved project and day-to-day management, people management and working as part of team
