John is responsible for defining, articulating and executing the digital strategy for Fidelity International across the Wholesale, Institutional, Workplace Investing and Retail channels in Asia. He is a member of the Fidelity’s Global Digital Steering Committee and responsible for the digital strategy of the Institutional channel globally.
 
Achievements:
·  	Partnered with the HR department to develop a formal Design Thinking training program across the organization (localized in 3 languages)
·  	Identified strategic Fintech startups to partner with to accelerate Fidelity’s digital strategy
·  	Grew the team from zero to 30+ people, establishing footprints in China, Hong Kong, Japan and Australia
·  	Digital strategy for entry into the mainland financial market as the first WOFE asset manager in China

•	Grew team to over 40 elite user experience professionals.
•	Established best-in-class frameworks and processes to follow. 
•	Led a team that worked collaboratively with the business and technology teams to design and deliver online experiences and enable customers' financial success.
•	Spearheaded user experience for industry recognized innovations such as Fidelity’s Robo-Advisor offering and Digital Retirement Guidance.
•	Contributed to the interaction design pattern library and standards for organization-wide usage.
•	Educated business stakeholders and executive leadership about the UXD process.
•	Hosted and led design-thinking workshops at executive offsites.
•	Defined and developed rapid validation processes that have been widely adopted in other regions

• Designed in-house transactional platform and retail mobile-banking and peer-to-peer payment applications. 
• Partnered with team to develop consistent interaction pattern library and evangelize the role of UX within the organization.

• Drove, developed, and delivered entertainment properties that seamlessly connect together video game consoles, personal computers, mobile phones, and social networks. 
• Designed and implemented internal processes centered around data analytics, performance, and usability.
