About John McCartney

Product Design Manager at Progress Software

Hi, I’m John McCartney, a UX leader who’s spent the last several years helping teams build thoughtful, user-centered digital experiences. One of the things I love most is building and scaling product and UX teams, creating environments where designers and researchers can do their best work and grow into confident, collaborative professionals. I’ve worked across industries and with all kinds of personalities, and what’s stayed consistent is my love for solving problems with empathy and clarity.

I’m here to support folks who are figuring out what’s next, whether you're just starting out in UX, shifting roles, or stepping into leadership. I’ve been through those transitions myself, and I know how valuable it is to have someone in your corner. Let’s talk about your goals, your challenges, and how to move forward with confidence.
