I am a designer, entrepreneur, and educator and was active in the early days of founding the discipline of user experience, and building communities of practice and practitioners to define and advance the field. Since then, I have spent my career creating and developing companies to have a positive impact on society and culture.

I am the founder and CEO of Alive Ventures, a startup studio that helps entrepreneurs identify high potential business ideas for improving the lives of older adults. We provide access to user communities for testing and iterating product designs, partnerships to help launch and scale new brands, and funding for future growth.
