About Jonathan Kwok

Lead Product Designer at Cashrewards · Smartgroup (current)

Hi! I’m a Lead Product Designer with 12+ years’ experience working in product-led teams. I’ve led design across complex problem spaces and helped teams scale through better research practices, design systems, and brand foundations.

I’m currently a Senior Product Designer at Smartgroup, and previously led design at Cashrewards, working across Retail Media, partner products, and search optimisation with a strong focus on measurable outcomes.

Earlier in my career, I worked across advertising and TV production with brands like Allianz, Commonwealth Bank, RSPCA, Breville, and Family Planning NSW, which shaped how I think about storytelling and collaboration in product.

My work has been recognised with Best Use of UX (Mumbrella) and a Good Design Award (2022) for Planet Puberty. I enjoy mentoring designers on starting their design career, portfolio reviews, senior-to-lead transitions, and navigating stakeholder complexity.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, fishing, cooking, and slowly decorating a house that never seems finished.
