About Julia Larina

Sr. Product Designer (Visual) at Intuit

Hi, I am Julia Larina! I am a UX & UI Designer who is curious and likes to dig into design challenges with a human-centric approach. I sharpened my skills as a UI designer for almost 15 years in the Web and Mobile industry. My desire to create more meaningful solutions for people led me to UX Design. I am passionate about impacting people’s lives and strive to know as much as I can about the people I am designing for, to make the decisions based on their needs.

When I am not creating solutions, you can find me walking around with the camera or working on my photography business. I have a wide variety of hobbies, including cooking (I am kimchi and cured/smoked meat enthusiast) and food photography, ice skating classes for adults, yoga, gardening. I enjoy listening to audiobooks during my morning run. I also love to spend time with my family and friends outdoors, together we discover new hiking trails and travel destinations inside of the US and worldwide!

Sessions with Julia Larina

  • Introduction (15 min): General mentorship
  • 30-minute session (30 min): I mentor aspiring and growing product designers who want to build strong, confident careers in tech. My mentorship focuses on career growth, job search strategy, portfolio and resume improvement, and helping designers position themselves for the opportunities they want. I guide mentees through everything from refining case studies and presenting their design thinking to preparing for interviews and navigating the competitive hiring market. My goal is not only to help designers land jobs, but to help them gain clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of direction in their careers.
