Associate Creative Director, Copy at Envisionit
Well hello there! Pleasure to meet you. A few quick hits about me: I'm a creative thinker, leader, and performer with over a dozen years of experience as a copywriter, copyeditor, content strategist, and storyteller crafting “good stories, well told” (yay, tagline!) for ad and marketing agencies, in-house/client-side teams, and freelance clients.
In the past, I’ve had the honor of working on projects for recognizable brands such as ABM Industries, ADT, AT&T, Banana Republic, Cadillac, Charter Spectrum, Chevrolet, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Church’s Chicken, Cox, Fleetcor, NIKE, Quicken Loans, Reliant Energy, UPS, UPS Healthcare & Xfinity.
Though born and raised in New Orleans, I've lived in Atlanta for over 10 years now, having moved here to start my writing career after graduating from Vanderbilt University with degrees in English Literature (yay, words!) and Secondary Education (yay, teaching folks about words!).
Also, as the son of a commercial fisherman, I’ve spent a total of more than 3 years of my life working as a deckhand on my family’s shrimp and oyster boats in the bayous of Louisiana (yup, just like in Forrest Gump).

“Justin was very easy to talk and down to earth. He opened my eyes to different areas of literature and where to start as a novice reader/writer. I left the meeting with the feeling of getting closer towards my goals. He is professional and gives great advice.”
“Meeting with Justin was such a calming and reassuring experience. He has an approach to mentorship that made me feel instantly familiar and comfortable talking with him (and I'm a nervous social person, so that's saying a lot). And beyond being kind and generous with his time and knowledge - it's clear how gifted he is at his craft.”
“Warm, friendly, actionable advice. Enjoyed our conversation and appreciate the insights!”
