When I moved to the U.S. for my master's during the peak of COVID, I faced significant challenges in making friends and building a network. As I began my job search, I realized how much I needed guidance on understanding the work culture, refining my portfolio, and mastering interview techniques. Despite feeling intimidated, I reached out to my design community on LinkedIn and was fortunate to receive invaluable support.
This experience highlighted the importance of accessible mentorship, which is why I am passionate about becoming a mentor on ADPList. Knowing there’s a platform like ADPList, where willing mentors are readily available, makes all the difference. Becoming a mentor on ADPList will also help me organize my mentorship efforts. Currently, I receive most mentorship requests through LinkedIn, but with ADPList, I can streamline and manage all my requests in one place, ensuring a more efficient and structured approach.
I am eager to give back to the community, support others in achieving their professional goals, and enhance the effectiveness of my mentorship through ADPList
