As a senior accessibility designer, I have over 18 years of experience in UX design, including creating and implementing accessible, user centred design systems.

I'm an accessibility engineer and designer, providing auditing, design feedback and code support to ensure products are compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

I collaborate with multidisciplinary teams as part of a centralised accessibility community to transform our accessibility practices and culture.

I can help you with becoming an accessibility designer, or shaping an accessibility strategy at your organisation. I'm also very happy to help you with tips to make your portfolio more accessible.

Sessions with Karl Goldstraw

  • Portfolio Accessibility Review (30 min): Bring along either an existing portfolio or your designs for a new portfolio. It's really important when looking for your next career move that your portfolio itself demonstrates your commitment to inclusive design. I will review your portfolio with you and suggest amends or improvements to it to help you become more accessible. I will also suggest ways you can test your own portfolio after the session.
