Hi, I’m Kat!
I’m a Product Designer at Commonwealth Bank, currently working on AI-powered verification.
My journey into product design started through UNSW’s New Wave program, where my team created and pitched a health management app that became my first portfolio case study. That experience helped me break into the industry through the Hatch Tech Graduate Program, where I began my career at Domain.
Having benefited from programs and generous mentors who helped me discover product design and find my way into the industry, giving back to others starting their careers is really important to me. I’ve since mentored through UNSW’s WIT Empowerment Mentoring, Gateway and Career Discovery Mentoring programs.
I’m particularly passionate about helping aspiring and early-career designers break into the industry, build strong portfolios and case studies, prepare for applications and interviews, and grow confidence in what they bring to the table.
