UX Researcher at Microsoft
I’m Kate, a UX Researcher at Microsoft! I hold a BA in PR & Advertising and a Masters in Organizational Leadership and Change. I’m passionate about wellness, using UXR to advocate for more accessible experiences, and networking to grow and expand career opportunities. As a career switcher myself, I am eager to help others navigate the transition to UX and leverage their networks and connections to open doors faster and with more support. I’m here to be an ear and a sounding board for self-advocacy and offer encouragement to others that was so key in my own launch into UX. Pay it forward, as they say!
“Kate has provided me with invaluable advice, especially when it comes to behavioral interviews. She emphasized the importance of providing detailed context and genuine work experiences during behavioral interviews. She encouraged me not only to describe my job responsibilities but to delve into the specifics of projects, explaining my role in them and the outcomes achieved.”
“I really enjoyed my session with Kate. Throughout the whole experience she was very thoughtful and provided great feedback. Out of this experience I was able to gain actionable insights to change my resume for the better.”
“Kate was an excellent mentor to meet with as I began my journey of learning about UX research. She shared some excellent resources and even did an impromptu review of my resume that was incredibly useful!”
