Hi, I’m Kateryna — a tech leader with more than 13 years of experience building quality, security, and resilience into digital products and the teams behind them.
I started my path as a hands-on tester and gradually grew into roles where I could shape entire organisations: from test engineering and security testing to leading a 42-person QA department at Itera. Over the years, I’ve delivered more than 15 complex projects in finance, banking, and insurance, worked on-site in Oslo and London, and helped international teams build trust, structure, and sustainable delivery processes.
Security is a big part of my work. I’ve built security competence inside a distributed, multicultural organisation, led DevSecOps initiatives, and collaborated with security professionals on projects that strengthened products, teams, and company culture. Today, I also serve as a member of the CEH Scheme Committee, contributing to how global security certifications evolve.
Community matters to me just as much as technology. I’m a co-founder of several Ukrainian tech conferences (QA Fest, .NET Fest, JS Fest), a speaker, and someone who believes mentorship is one of the most meaningful ways to grow the next generation of engineers and founders.
I’m focused, honest, empathetic, and very practical. I enjoy helping people see the bigger picture, avoid common traps, and build products — and careers — that are both secure and sustainable.
