As a senior experience designer within Deloitte's Customer Strategy and Design (CS&D) team, I've:

*Led research and strategic design for a project exploring the potential for digital tools and services to improve the experience of whānau Māori in navigating and accessing maternity and early years services for their pēpi.

* Designed and conducted UX research programmes for a major agricultural client, and leveraged these insights to define a product roadmap towards best-in-class future-state user experiences 

* Led the research and engagement strategy that drove Aotearoa's first truly national Diabetes Strategy

* Led the future state design for one of Aotearoa's most impactful rainbow mental health support service organisations

* Led the co-design of a new outcomes-based healthcare commissioning model for Pacific communities in Aotearoa

* Led the co-design of novel human-centred solutions to help ease retention challenges in New Zealand's Nursing workforce.
 
* Advised clients on embedding human-centred design processes to strengthen their innovation pathways to become more customer/user centric. 

* Designed and conducted a major qualitative research programme for one of New Zealand's largest companies to help them understand and grow their social license 

*  Mentored and supported junior designers

Lead a team responsible charged with enriching Auckland Museum's online and onsite digital platforms, and bringing a human centered design approach to developing new products and experiences serving the Museum's core missions, while operating in the digital realm.

Senior creative providing leadership in experience design, content design, creative development, audience experience, accessibility and inclusion across the organisation

Creative lead working in a team charged with creating world-class exhibitions at Tāmaki Paenga Hira. In my time in the role I led the creation of eight major temporary and permanent exhibitions, most recently leading the re-development of the Museum's Natural Science Galleries, schedule to open in 2023. 
My work centred on experience design. advocating for our audiences through development phases, and creating opportunities for our Museum collections to shine in telling stories and inspiring. 

On a more granular level the role is focused on content and experience design. It involves narrative and concept design and development, guiding a team of skilled artists and craftspeople to create awesome interactives, films, digital media and text that support learning outcomes and create memorable experiences. 

The role put me at the core of multidisciplinary project teams, charged with maintaining a clear creative vision, whilst actively collaborating and balancing the needs of visitors, contributors and often a significant body of stakeholders, both internal and external. 

Recent major projects include Voyage to Aotearoa: Tupaia and the Endeavour and Te Whiwhinga - The Imaginarium.

Developing experiences, exhibit spaces and creative opportunities at Auckland Zoo that help visitors connect with wildlife. 

Role included
- Design and development of content and interpretation across site
- Development and implementation of Auckland Zoo's interpretive strategy 
- Consulting on new exhibits with a focus on messaging and creating opportunities for powerful visitor experiences
- Design, management and coordination of operational signage

Consultant helping organisations speak to their audiences and manage their reputations. 

After beginning in the Media Research and Analysis team, this role at Acumen involved providing strategic and on-the-ground communications support for clients including Xero, MasterCard, Tonkin & Taylor, and Government offices across traditional and digital channels.

Role remit included: 
- Creation of focused and engaging multimedia content for print/digital/online distribution
- Overseeing project management and content creation for website developments
- Management of social media channels with a focus on Twitter and Facebook 
- Driving engagement and building relationships with media, stakeholders and target audiences.
- Developing, presenting and successfully executing multifaceted communication plans 
- Research and analytics informing campaign strategy and impact

I began my time at Acumen working in the Media Research & Analysis team. 

This role was focused on helping clients understand and manage their media presence, through research, analytics and tailored strategic reporting.

Clients spanned telecommunications, government, finance, FMCG and manufacturing.

Development and execution of social media campaign. Worked as member of team in event organisation, and design of national press strategy.

Wrote, directed 3 minute "how it works" advertorial for business website. Worked alongside professional animator to produce product on time, and on budget.

Wrote, directed and produced short audiovisual presentation for the University of Otago Alumni on the history of the University. Managed a small team of professionals.

Received scholarship and mentoring to develop a concept for consumer rewards system focused on encouraging ethical and environmentally-friendly choices at the checkout.

Wrote weekly column and film reviews for the University of Otago student magazine The Critic.
