Solving various design, workflow, behavior change, and service design related problems and for InfoTrack, which integrates with popular law practice management systems to automate key litigation tasks.

• Promoted twice in 6+ year tenure, from Senior Product Designer to Senior Product Design Manager based on success in executing high-profile, urgent, firm-wide digital transformation initiatives.
• Directed designing of a firm-wide engagement document archiving system, built from scratch running on AWS, which launched in unprecedented timeframe of 3 months, reaching full adoption within a year for mandatory audits.

• Designed and launched a streamlined, browser-based search engine for engagement data collected since the 1950’s. Improved protection of data assets through role-based access and usage tracking.
• Innovated and streamlined new risk case management process to automate due diligence and risk assessment process for engagements to drastically decrease litigation risk. 
• Led workshops and user research efforts to create a service blueprint and get holistic picture of cross-functional user journeys for  entire engagement process from beginning to end. Identified recurring issues and pain-points, providing actionable insights for product strategy and priorities.

• Digitized and automated  new shareholder and managing partner election process. In collaboration with  stakeholders from  main governing body, designed and launched voting website, which improved privacy, fairness and efficiency.

As a bilingual Japanese/English UX specialist, proposed and implemented various improvements on the site so that the revenue ($2M+) and conversion was increased significantly in the Japanese market. Translated not just language—Translating "images" for visual and cultural relevance.
Worked with Agile platforms including Jira and Rally.

Provided bilingual project management, research, and strategic analytical support for Panasonic Design Center of America. Collaborated with Panasonic Design Company in Japan on several simultaneous advance product development projects in North America.
•	Delivered projects on-time and in-budget, with a satisfactory rating from product development team leaders in Japan. 
•	Managed industrial design, user interaction, user experience, and market research projects with top renowned design firms in US, while acquiring working knowledge of Design Thinking and various leading-edge innovation methods and techniques from these design firms. 
•	Provided insights and created proposals for new product development. Some final proposals are now in production for mass manufacturing. 
•	Reported and analyzed the latest in US technological advancements to Japan. 
•	Kept lines of communication open and resolved difficult situations, such as disagreements on deliverables, scope creeping, and design firms not meeting expectations.
•	Won an award in an employee contest for top North American product idea for Panasonic. 
•	Translated and interpreted between Japanese and English. Have earned the nickname, “Legendary Interpreter” due to thorough understanding of both cultures and languages.

NY Designs is a design business incubator program of CUNY Economic Development Corporation and LaGuardia Community College/CUNY.

Led the project as Japan business development manager for Internet contextual video advertising company.  Launched the first live contextual video advertising campaign in Japan. 
•	Identified various issues in search (word segment - morphological analysis), which could not be identified by the English-speaking-only IT team.  Prevented the company from wasting millions of dollars in a system that would not have been able to handle double-byte characters.
•	Recruited new web publishers in Japan.  Forged a relationship between VM and ad agencies such as Dentsu, Hakuhodo, Digital Advertising Consortium (DAC), and ADK, by running test ad campaigns and facilitating regular conference calls in Japanese and English.

•	Responsible for finance, sales, strategy, as well as creative direction in some projects.
•	Projects included corporate identity, product design and development, photo shoots, multi-lingual web sites and content management systems, motion graphics, signage and print/web advertising.
•	Provided consulting in business development in the US for Japanese companies, or visa versa. 
•	Clients included: Sony, NTT DoCoMo, Fuji TV, North American Energy Alliance, Netherlands American Chamber of Commerce, and The Swedish Institute.

Bridged the gap between the design and technical team. Clients include MOMA, West LB, and the German Consulate. Pixelpark at the time, was a subsidiary of Bertelsmann, Inc.

Localized BOL.com in Japan before Amazon.  BOL.com is an online media store that is second to Amazon in Germany and at one point, had stores in fourteen countries. 
•	Supervised seven Oracle Consultants and launched the e-commerce site in Japan within 6 months.
•	Communicated with teams in Japan to create specifications from business requirements.
•	Managed QA process, business requirements, and work order requests from Japan office.
•	Identified character set issues and sales tax issues unique to Japan, and helped resolve them.
•	Oversaw software and manual localization and translation.

Created and coded web layouts and animated banners for NYU, Land's End, Kodak, etc. Worked at agencies such as iXL and BKKP (Biederman, Kelly, Krimstein & Partners)

Assisted Japanese VP of Business Development in day-to-day operations, co-branding partnerships, translations, and contractual paperwork.  Created web sites in Japanese and English to license music content for a custom CD burning service.
