About Kevin Antonio Rateni Iatauro
Full Stack Engineer at Velasca
My name is Kevin Antonio Rateni Iatauro.
I was born and raised in Italy, but I like to define myself as a citizen of the world. I absolutely love traveling, learning about new cultures and meeting people with diverse backgrounds. This is one of the reasons why I left Italy in 2016 to study in the United States.
I managed to get two degrees in just three years and a half, while working as a Full Stack Engineer for an Italian startup in the entertainment business.
During my experience in the United States, I also managed to spend two semesters abroad as a student, one in Norway and one in Lithuania.
At the moment, I am working for several different brands back in Italy. I am the lead Full Stack Engineer for several growing companies, like La Semaine Paris, Velasca and Chitè, and the upcoming MotorHeroes, a platform that allows users to participate in auctions for vintage cars.
I am a very curious person, and a huge lover of technology in general, so I spend most of my free time researching new things and keeping up to date with the ever-changing world of tech.

“Kevin was very helpful. I had questions about booking system implementation. He was extremely articulate and approachable. Kevin provided a great overview of potential implementation complications and different options to approach the technical problems. He is also very empathic about our users (A+ quality for an engineer). I'd definitely recommend Kevin to other designers and product people!”
