About Kirsten Thulborn
Group Product Design Manager at Intuit
I’m a design leader with deep experience building and scaling high-performing product design teams at large tech companies. I specialize in design strategy, org design, and developing senior ICs and managers in complex, high-bar environments.
My work sits at the intersection of product, design, and leadership—helping teams navigate ambiguity, raise craft and strategic rigor, and deliver meaningful outcomes at scale. I’m particularly passionate about coaching designers on operating at the right altitude, influencing cross-functional partners, and growing into Staff, Principal, and leadership roles.
As a mentor, I’m known for being direct, thoughtful, and practical. I enjoy supporting designers who want to level up their strategic impact, improve executive communication, or navigate tough career moments with clarity and confidence.
