About Kitae Kim

Co-founder and Head of Foveate Labs at Foveate

I'm Kitae, my background is in architecture. I landed my first real job through a lucky cold email about Brexit to an artist I had learned of through my University's lecture series. From there I pitched myself as someone who could transform his studio's ability to create massive art installations and 10 days later I moved to Montreal form Michigan to start work. After 5 years designing and visualizing these installations in 3D/XR Covid happened and I realized that sharing a 3D model of a project with a colleague was next to impossible. I then left to start my own startup, Foveate. A 3D/XR platform for architects, designers, and creatives to share, present, and collaborate in real-time 3D.
