Conducting good user research

We are a black-owned, female-founded travel company that prioritizes technology. Our AI-based platform creates and manages hassle-free custom group trips. With backgrounds in research and product, we use UX Design principles and processes within travel planning. I lead all design initiatives, partnering with marketing.

We embraced community diversity and believed in inclusive, accessible technology education. I built curriculum and led virtual workshops, livestreams, and courses focused on the design industry.

As the first UX hire at a digital supply chain startup, I spearheaded our DesignOps, ResearchOps, and UX maturity process. I empowered communities and launched new workshops, resources, guidelines, and processes (including "UX Fridays"). Serving large international clients across agriculture, logistics, and construction technology, I designed content solutions and end-to-end product experiences.

For a Digital Media Asset Management system redesign, my team conducted a design workshop, tested power users, improved asset uploads, and analyzed user mental models of file organization.

I offer design, branding, writing, strategy, product guidance, and event planning to individuals and companies.

My Academic Alliance team helped 1.4K+ higher education institutions worldwide use Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM & ERP) in curriculum. I led global comms, content strategy, marketing, events, research, and design initiatives. I upheld the program voice across all channels in coherence with the Microsoft brand.

I managed the design and execution of the first-ever subdomain website for Concordia College Student Government. I led campus-wide communications, publicity design, and maintained our voice across all digital channels.

As a visiting student at the University of Galway, I co-hosted a weekly radio show, "Amplified Afternoons," on the campus radio station.

I marketed and wrote to global audiences at Weekend Student Adventures (WSA Europe) - previously Europe's #1 trips for students abroad.
