About Krishna Sistla

Sr. Interaction Designer at Google

I'm taking a break from ADPList sessions for a few months to dedicate more time to my family. I'll open up more slots close to summer 2025. Connect on Linkedin Krishna Sistla is an architect turned interaction designer with a particular interest in automation, AI, and conversational interfaces. Currently working as the lead designer for Autopilot, Uipath's very own AI companion. I was at Google Cloud before the layoff impacted my team.

For the past two and a half years, he has been motivated to make manufacturing robotics accessible to non-expert users through the power of design. Before that, he enjoyed designing how young families interact with a pet-like home robot in their homes and how professionals get things done on enterprise cloud software for the construction industry.

Krishna has experimented with being a co-founder, user researcher, design technologist, and part-time PM before deciding to stick to his strength of interaction design. He believes in the collective strength of the team and that his role as a designer is to help everyone on the team empathize with the users and have them engage in the problem-solving process along with pushing pixels when no one is watching. He enjoys talking about the design process and how to break it down for particular projects.

What mentees say

β€œMy session with Krishna was to prepare for a whiteboard interview, and even though it was just 30 minutes, it was incredibly valuable. He provided clear guidance on how to structure the session, what questions to ask, and which key areas to focus on. Krishna also shared his framework, which was really helpful. I would highly recommend Krishna to anyone preparing for a whiteboard round.”
