Being the only designer

I am part of the Salesforce Experience Services team; a group of passionate and dedicated designers who build transformational products and experiences by turning human insights into business impact and value. We partner with functions across all industry verticals to help customers unleash the full power of Salesforce through a human-centric design approach, to deliver useful, usable and desirable experiences.

I work on the visual designs for our proposals and learning solutions and lead a graphic and motion design team of 6-8 employees. As a team, we constantly seek to innovate and
advance the company's visual design capabilities and reputation.

Perkbox is an Employee Engagement platform that helps attract and retain the very best talent by building a happier, more productive company culture.

My responsibilities are to manage a creative team of 5 (4 designers and 1 copywriter) and support the company with all things design ranging from content marketing pieces to events posters and stands to social and display advertising.

Since I joined, we have managed and delivered a brand refresh, along with organising and art directing a 2 day company photoshoot with an external agency and have since redesigned the company website.

Amobee is a global marketing technology company that provides data driven cross channel digital advertising solutions for agencies, brands and publishers.

I lead and develop Amobee London's creative team and manage all of the creative output for the office.

We predominately design display advertising, social and rich media, cross-platform, for a wide range of internationally known brands, from initial concept through to execution. In addition we support marketing and new business with comms and presentations through to entire branding events.

I also act as brand ambassador for a number of client direct relationships, ensuring that brand, campaign messaging and visuals are appropriately applied to digital display advertising.

In addition to the above, I work with partner agencies to provide guidance and creative expertise for a variety of fast paced mobile and desktop social media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest & more).

I continued managing the team of designers but my role became more client facing as I solely creatively managed the larger accounts at Opera: Nike, HP, Microsoft and Google.

In addition to my previous UI design work as a digital designer, I am now also line manager to 2 mid-weight designers and a junior designer.

I also focus on identifying ways to reduce inefficiencies and speed up design process in order to create better working future practices for the team.

Some of the larger clients I had the privilege to work for: Nike, HP, Microsoft, Universal, Panasonic, Google and many more.

Opera Mediaworks is the world’s leading mobile advertising platform, helping to power the global mobile economy.

I am involved in designing responsive HTML5 mobile and tablet advertising experiences for prominent clients. From researching and conceptualising ideas, designing HTML5 banners, expandables and full ad units to optimising and providing the final assets for build.

I have also been involved in the company's rebranding - working on conceptualising ideas for promotional videos, UI of the company website and re-design of company presentations.
