Product Designer at The New York Times
Hi there! I'm a product designer at The New York Times, and was previously at LinkedIn. I love to meet other designers and students. Feel free to set up time to chat, whether you want to learn more about design, need advice on a project, your portfolio—however I can be helpful.
Ideas for things we can talk about: what do product designers do? making a portfolio when you don't have real work experience presenting your work and interviewing transitioning from school to "the real world"
Outside of work, you can find me singing with my choir, struggling to play piano, drawing and painting, learning languages, and lovingly poking fun at fellow San Franciscans.
“Chatting with Leah was super fun and rewarding! I asked about her experiences in a few things I'm going through and interested in trying. She was extremely honest and energetic, which made me excited to work too. Thank you Leah! Definitely recommend.”
“It was amazing to talk with Leah. I wanted to get some advices of how is to work as a Product Designer in big companies, she gave me nice insights and a new perspective of the industry. She is really helpful, she told me about her work, and we had a very nice conversation. I really recommend her advice.”
“I reached out to Leah to review my portfolio together, and am very glad I did! Leah is friendly, thoughtful, and make me feel at ease as a new designer. All her feedback was insightful and helpful. I highly recommend connecting with Leah!”
