Product management career path

I've been owning Microsoft Commerce publishing platform for 6+ years. The platform serves tens of thousands of publishers to list their offerings on Xbox and Microsoft digital stores and marketplaces. I'm known for being a great collaborator and communicator who drives cross team alignment, by working with stakeholders across legal, finance, marketing, tax, account & various engineering teams. I’m deeply trusted and highly valued by teams and people that I work with, across executives, managers and ICs. 

My duties are primarily
1. Recommending key investments via developing product roadmap that reflects business priorities 
2. Defining product requirements via scoping the right solutions for end-to-end user experiences and considering the technical constraints
3. Delivering product features by getting buy-in from the business & engineering teams to land on an execution plan

Key accomplishments 
1. Ensured Microsoft consumer stores and marketplaces comply to the latest regulations by collaboration with Microsoft legal, stores and engineering teams.
2. Improved millions of dollars in profitability for gaming products, by smoothly bulk updating prices for live products, w/o causing any service disruptions.
3. Launched various Game Pass initiatives, globally and regionally, across online stores and retail stores.

1. I've institutionalized a new internal process to support continuous delivery model on cloud. The process was critical in enabling 5+ teams to deliver on a quarterly basis with higher quality. I did this via a collaboration and leadership with more than 100+ people, from various roles spanning from product owner team, various engineering teams, quality team & release managers etc.

2. I delivered 3 quarterly releases in 2017 of S/4HANA Cloud ERP, by lead a team to define business processes and build configuration templates for Treasury and Risk Management.

1. My accountability was to deliver addon features that fit to legal, regulatory and business customs in the Japan market, to the Microsoft Dynamics AX Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (the latest brand is Dynamics 365). My day-to-day duties are managing and communicating the product roadmap, collecting & prioritizing requirements for improvements, as well as ensuring go-to-market readiness etc. 

2. I was one of the core contributors in The New Dynamics AX (version AX7) general availability launch. Having 4 pilot customers was a GA criterion, and Soup Stock Tokyo from Japan was one of those 4 customers. I was their program manager representing Microsoft engineering teams. Behind the scenes, a team of 40-50 Microsoft engineers from different roles and teams, across multiple continents made it possible via collaboration.

3. The project improved their store operations efficiency, by combining traditional financial data with data captured from IoT devices to derive new actionable insights. It was also later widely being reference at marketing events such as De:Code 2016.

1. My accountability was helping Japanese customers to standardize their business processes at overseas branches. I did that via leading teams to implement and roll out Dynamics AX ERP for Japanese-funded trading and production companies in Japan, Thailand, Korea, Taiwan, Shanghai and Shenzhen China and Viet Nam etc. 

2. I have accumulated knowledge and know-how in many industries: steel, chemical, food, electronics and automobile parts.  

3. I have also built expertise in many functional areas: customer relationship management, sales budgeting, costing, inventory, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets and general ledger etc.

1. I led a team and delivered system scope & design for a car telematics data analysis consulting project. The project was to envision an integrated analytics system and formulate the path toward its realization. The mission was to help the car maker to know better about their customers based on driving history, user input, traffic data and third-party data. 

2. I’ve delivered code work for various systems including Dynamics CRM template research and development, authorized printing system, online conference room reservation system, and open-source BI systems etc. The technologies I used include SQL Server, MySQL, PHP, Symphony (PHP coding framework), Propel (Object-Relationship mapping framework) etc.
