I'm currently working as the UX Writing manager for the traveler payments team at Booking.com. And yes, we do all of the money handling. 

What our team works on:

-Building and establishing UX writing practices throughout the Fintech department
-Proactively identify user needs for a global audience with new payment methods unique to each region
-Demonstrate impact by quantifying good UX writing principles through experimentation, and other data-driven methodologies
-Develop opportunities for us to continually improve the checkout and post-booking experience on Booking.com, making it easier for anyone to travel the world

Instructed workshop “UX writing for Figma”, helping students further their UX writing craft and knowledge base. 
Serve as a mentor with individual students, providing support for craft, portfolio, and career development.

Primarily supported the Advanced Payable domain, which included the core features of BILL such as the inbox, bills, vendor management, payables, and managing approvals for users. Additionally supported the network growth team to expand the company’s footprint, encouraging their businesses to sign up for BILL.

Accomplishments:
-Led content efforts to redesign a new flow for businesses to add vendors, which improved task completion rate from 55% to 75%. Also increased ePayment conversions from 39 to 42%.
-Implemented new features for our Inbox product; including the ability to add notes, save files for later, and sort/filter functionality.  Validated new concepts with positive user feedback. 
-Led content explorations with our network growth teams, leading to increases in new vendor accounts, expanding company footprint by 15% YoY.

Additional accomplishments 

-Co-created the content style guide committee, establishing an intake and governance process. 
-Worked to establish experimentation as a process for content changes.
-Created new Bill.com terminology flow for AP and AR (payable and receiving) businesses, so that our terms were consistent throughout each user experience.

I mentor students and professionals in the industry, introducing them to UX and UX writing fundamentals, concepts, and strategies. I work closely with students to build up their portfolio, helping them to reach their career goals.

Implemented a UX design-centric approach to content development. Launched content strategy foundations to analyze, iterate, and deploy creative content solutions for brands looking to grow and optimize their presence on eCommerce platforms. 

Served as the client-facing director and content strategist on enterprise level clients, managing and coordinating efforts across multiple international teams and client communications.

Managed team of up to 7 team members, including content writers, strategists, and designers.

Responsibilities

Created company website through Shopify and UX tools. Designed company logo, and lead UX and content strategy across all product lines. Create product descriptions, titles, and enhanced branded content for Amazon marketplace. Monitor and lead art direction team for studio photography and staging. Manage social media marketing, branding efforts and ad direction.

Created digital assets, wrote copy and conceptualized digital ad content for large enterprise clients in the technical B2B space. 
Developed ad concepts for Facebook, LinkedIn, Digital Assets, and Email Marketing. Increased digital banner engagement by 26%, reinforcing brand awareness and nurturing qualified leads.

Contributing author and food journalist for Eater Seattle and Curbed, covering the local food scene and lifestyle activities for the greater Seattle area. Research, review, and write up articles, creating maps for visitors to explore the top dining establishments in the city.

Led in house creative team, responsible for overall brand direction, brand story, design and tone. 

Created a content calendar, aligning campaign plans with creative production. Ensuring we had consistent content in an iterative planning stage throughout the year. 

Initiated key brand strategies and insights. Mediums include web content, print ads, video ads, Social media (Instagram and Twitter), magazine features, and email campaigns.

Resolved inbound client inquiries. Wrote copy for media/marketing. Email support to end users. Customer resolution specialist.
