Head of development in content department (interactive educational web applications). Consisting of 30+ front and back developers.

Achievements:
- Built an internal CMS, which increased content creation speed by 5-10 times.
- Moved all landings into one mono-repository with common components, logic and integrations, which simplified marketing A/B tests.
- Successfully changed back-end stack because of hiring and support issues from ruby to nodejs.
- Start splitting monolith into separated services where we can. Or unified APIs where we can’t easily move them. As a result we get rid of a lot of routine tasks on back-end, increase speed of development and made processes more clean from PM perspective.
- Investigated issues in department and, as a result, set new agile process for every development team in content department. With constant improvements we shortened preproduction cycle from months to weeks and start prototyping. Right now we are moving into SCRUM in every content team.
- Has implemented and integrate two new hiring interviews (technical and soft skills).
- Conducted a competency assessment. Created an educational plan for employees base on assessment's results. Started internal meetup.

Most of the work is related to the website development and maintenance. We are trying to make every part of the project as much interactive as it could be. As a result, each education course (even blog articles) needs separate mechanics, which produce interesting architecture problems and a lot of code.
