Develop and test a theoretical model of ageism and substance-related stigma, using national cohort data from the Norwegian "AgeSUD - Promoting healthy longevity among people with substance use disorders" project.

The Technical Advisory Group (TAG) on the mental health impacts of COVID-19 in the WHO European Region was established in February 2021 to review available evidence on observed and experienced mental health impacts of COVID-19 in the Region, and to identify remaining gaps in the evidence base, key emergent needs and the implications for mental health service development and system strengthening – as part of recovery efforts.

●	Lead the machine learning implementation team (team size: 8); the data-sharing and re-use initiative lead (team size: 3), and the machine learning / AI network at NIPH.

●	Covid-19 emergency research response team: led the roll-out of machine learning techniques to create biweekly evidence and gap maps; responsible for training a growing roster of international researchers in data extraction routines and the use of a systematic review software; maintained database of all covid-19 publications; produced systematic reviews. 
●	Machine learning evaluation and implementation team lead: develop a capacity-building strategy for the division’s use of machine learning and automation to improve effective evidence synthesis processes; design and conduct evaluations of machine learning processes within commissioned reviews; coordinate inter-institutional learning and research initiatives. 
●	Lead research teams that conduct systematic reviews (both meta-analyses and qualitative evidence syntheses) commissioned by Norwegian welfare directorates, with topics including prisons for youth, eHealth, and restraint and seclusion within child welfare institutions.
●	Co-lead statistical courses for researchers and provide individual statistical training.
●	Research interests include substance abuse among marginalized groups, health and welfare intervention evaluation, quality of life, and instrument psychometrics. 
●	Software: EPPI Reviewer (superuser), STATA, Covidence, NVIVO, Review Manager.

This guest visit formed the basis of a research collaborration between the Centre for Interdisciplinary Addiction Research (ZIS) at the University of Hamburg and the Norwegian Centre for Addiction Research (SERAF) at the University of Oslo. I contributed to the analyses of psychometric properties of the newly developed Opioid Substitution Treatment Quality of Life scale, a systematic literature review of quality of life tools used among opioid dependent populations, and served as an independent reviewer of selected tools.
