About Lila Ozkazanc
UX Research Strategist at aanmelder.nl
As a mentor, I'd like to shine some light into transitioning into the UX field from another professional background.
My professional background is in communications, music, design, marketing, and business. When I found UX, I realised it is not just a career, but it is who I am. After completing my lengthy and diverse education in Turkey and the US, I moved to the Netherlands to pursue UX Research and Strategy -specialising in B2B.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have. I am happy to answer them and give you additional resources!

What mentees say
“Lila is a fantastic mentor. She is incredibly encouraging, kind, and provides all the information you need to work in the Netherlands and become an outstanding Product Designer. She is very supportive and gave me a lot of constructive feedback to improve my portfolio and make me a stronger candidate.”
“Lila is very encouraging and patient, as well as professional. I was multitasking because of school tasks and everything, but she managed to reschedule and help me as needed. She focused on my learning, and she adjusted our plan based on my needs after we found I need more hands-on help and interview practice. Her understanding helps me to calm down. Definitely recommend her as a mentor.”
“Found my session with Lila really inspiring about UX Research. As i was looking to understand how I could implement UX research within my role, she gave me some tips and tricks to embed UX research within my organisation. She was really easy to talk to and recommend a call with her :)”
