About linda ikechukwu

Developer Advocate at Smallstep Labs

Hi, my name is Linda Ikechukwu and I am obsessed with lowering the learning curve for complex developer tools to aid accelerated developer adoption.

In the last 6 years of my career, I have worked in various facets of IT; from cloud engineering at Huawei, to joining Omnibiz as one of the first frontend engineers helping to build the first and second version of their MVP, to now joining Smallstep as their first developer advocate and building our entire developer education strategy from scratch. I am no stranger to taking on challenging projects and driving them to successful completion.

Whether it’s through hands-on tutorials, engaging documentation, interactive workshops, or conference talks around the world, I do whatever it takes to make the developer experience as accessible, seamless and enjoyable as possible.

I can help you with anything related to your developer advocacy or technical writing career, namely but not limited to: Portfolio and resume reviews Advice on transitioning into developer advocacy. Tips on drafting a performant technical content strategy. How to become a better technical writer How to come up with and pitch talks to tech conferences. Succeeding as a developer advocate.
