Content design and strategy are my professional focus areas. As a dyslexic person with SpLDs my career path has been wonky, non-traditional and full of light and dark. I can’t think in straight lines and struggle to describe the work I do (though I am improving with the ongoing support and collaboration of the team at Nexer Digital). Work that feels very natural and intuitive. But that’s only half of the story. At this point in my career I want to share with, and learn from, newer designers coming up behind those of us with more experience. Every day is a content day and every day I try my best to make a difference by making useful, accessible content that resonates with people. And by being the mentor I wish I’d had 30 years ago. Neurodivergent people can be great designers and design leaders too.
